Silicone resins

Silicone resins have high resistance to aging factors (oxidation, UV rays, ozone and atmospheric agents), excellent electrical properties and excellent resistance, stability at high and low temperatures, water repellency and high resistance to chemical aggression.
Silicones are available as one-component and two-component systems. The one-component systems polymerize thanks to humidity, the two-component systems cured with the intervention of a catalyst at room temperature or with the help of temperature. At the end of the polymerization process the compound is elastic and rubbery.
Silicone systems are used in multiple applications. They are used in the waterproof sealing of electrical, electronic and telecommunications equipment, in the fixing of electrical and electronic components on printed circuits, in the incorporation of electronic components and assemblies as protection against thermal shock, vibrations, humidity, ozone, dust, chemicals and others environmental risks, in the encapsulation of high voltage transformers, voltage regulators, power converters, power supplies, in the production of insulating gaskets and bonding of metals, glass, plastic, etc.
